This week’s featured Shoplooker is @sadcherrysoda! I asked her the same question I asked @looksbylyla last week and she gladly answered. Learn more about the Shoplooker with 4K followers!
1. Tell me about yourself. What is your style? How to you come up with your outfits for the day?
I’m just a 19 year old narcoleptic girl from California, trying to inspire people with my fashion and art. I usually select something with colors that reflect my intentions for the day. Something edgy for when I need to feel empowered, or something feminine for when I feel girly.
2. How do you start your sets?
I start with choosing the background color and the color of the frame. This sets the tone for the rest of the set. Next, I choose a centerpiece, usually a cropped picture or piece of artwork.
3. Who do you get your inspiration from?
My inspiration comes from many places. Looksbylyla, Abbymae, and Ampersands-1 (just to name a few).
4. What are some of your favorite designs you made? Explain your choices.
My favorite design I made was my moodboard for my patron God Loki (the Norse God of fire). I also like the moodboard I made for the goddess Skadi and my “Motel’s For Lost Souls” moodboard as well. I mainly try to capture the spirit of the stories and characters in my head.
5. What is you current background?
My current background? As in... phone background/wallpaper? Currently it’s a picture of flowers by Mount Rainier.
6. Three things that you will NEVER wear.
I never would wear a pink fluffy prom dress, cropped jeans, and anything real leather.
7. What is your favorite piece of clothing in your wardrobe?
My favorite piece in my wardrobe is my dark red velvet dress with a black lace collar and a flowing a-line skirt.
8. Dream job?
My dream job is to be a writer. I’m currently working on a book actually.
9. What book are you reading right now?
I’m currently reading Magnus Chase And The Gods Of Asgard: The Sword Of Summer (by Rick Riordan).
10. Finally, how long have you been designing on shoplook?
I’ve been on ShopLook for about 2 years, and counting
